Part of it's because I'm naturally queasy; just watch someone cut vegetables makes me edgy.

The other part of it is that I just figure there's enough negative, terrible stuff going on the world that I don't need to engulf myself in make-believe horror, suspense, blood, incest, etc. in my "down time." I don't really even like to watch the news.Lori Stewart Weiderthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04601450336245218356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14675799.post-87178804260661014602009-01-16T22:37:00.000-06:002009-01-16T22:37:00.000-06:00I've gotten more sensitive to gore as I've gotten ...I've gotten more sensitive to gore as I've gotten older. I think it's just because as you get older, you see more. Now I'm like, "If I wanna see that stuff on TV, I'll watch the news. It's not entertainment." I really can't get how L'Ailee watches crime procedural shows and then goes to sleep. I have to get those images out of my head!

Of course, earlier this week, I watched the Washington Capitals whale on my Pittsburgh Penguins, and the puck hit a Penguin forward in the head, and he bled on the ice. I only squicked a little as people came out to scrape the blood off of the ice. Sometimes I don't even get myself.CrackerLilohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18176388186521154104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14675799.post-46235988607699527512009-01-16T20:57:00.000-06:002009-01-16T20:57:00.000-06:00I don't watch anything scary or too sad....can't h...I don't watch anything scary or too sad....can't handle that stuff...never could.Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13037132101026488589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14675799.post-55842071992200721482009-01-16T18:33:00.000-06:002009-01-16T18:33:00.000-06:00Krystal ~ Yeah, I saw my first one about that age,...Krystal ~ Yeah, I saw my first one about that age, too. Never bothered me...until now (ominous music swells in background...) I had to sleep in Timber's room with the light on the other night. I understand!

Lovely Cats ~ We were supposed to watch it together, remember? Oh how I wish we had. The way she feeds him? *shudder*

Neo-Prodigy ~ The Saws and Hostel have NOTHING on the last 15 minutes of this movie. NOTHING. Nice to know I'm not alone.

Jersey ~ Crazy how it happens that way, isn't it? Again, at least I'm not alone.BostonPobblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08900134112278236654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14675799.post-90723992930573824722009-01-16T07:17:00.000-06:002009-01-16T07:17:00.000-06:00We're twins. I have no idea what happened or when, but I just can't bring myself to read/watch scary horror things, or overly disturbing things. I guess this means I'm an old lady. That movie looked too freaky for me to see and I've seen the first two Saws, Hostel and actually fell asleep during Wolf's Creek.

Yep, just wikipediaed it. That was the movie I'm thinking of.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14675799.post-76161067515492354462009-01-15T15:43:00.000-06:002009-01-15T15:43:00.000-06:00ooh, that was a good one. creeped me out too.ooh, that was a good one. creeped me out too.christine mtmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10250140239270398550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14675799.post-70428725003435096772009-01-15T13:47:00.000-06:002009-01-15T13:47:00.000-06:00I've been sleeping with a light on since seeing th...I've been sleeping with a light on since seeing the original "Amityville".
