Meerkat Moment #2

I am angry. I am disgusted. I am sad beyond words. I no longer know my country.

Those are Pobble Thoughts. That and a buck fifty will get you coffee ~ and not much more any longer, apparently.

Don't lump the rest of us in with hate-mongering people who twist the Word of God, who wouldn't actually welcome Christ (because they wouldn't recognize him.)

And note that the article talks about other Christians fighting the initiative.

Also, remember that CNN sucks donkey-balls and will print any sensational garbage for a so-called "story."

Pobble - this is the second day I've tried to leave a thougthful response here and blogger ate it. Ha.

Oh well, I will say that yes this is always frustrating but comes up quite often on hot button issues like this and also - I hope you're writing well & frequently. :)

What re you talking about? This is a great chance at another statutory holiday. We sould have as manu of those as we can. I have ben pushing for a national "Throw Christians to the Lions" day for years. So far, no reponse from my government. Its just like those lazy sonsofbitches to let things pile up. At the last Genociders Conference and AGM, we talked a bit about overthrowing the government. But we had been drinking a bit. Now, as a gift to you, I will increase your readership by many FBI, CIA typesthat are watching for words like...
Bomb! Terrorist! Hijack! AK-47 is buried in my yard! I have enough bullets to start a small war!
You're welcome.
Smiles!

@LRN,

Speaking as a Christian, I know first hand that there is a difference between calling out corruption (religious or otherwise) and flat-out religion bashing.

And corruption should be called out where ever it exists.

I think the Pobble's track record proves that she's one of the most open-minded people on the planet and bashing Christians would be the last thing she would ever do.

Especially considering the number of people in her life who are close to her whom identify as Christians.

Just as look at the diverse background of her readership.

lol. If that was for me, I apologize if any Christians, Pagans, Teutonic adherents or Atheists took offense to my remark. To offend was not my intent. The advocation for the "throw Christians to the Lions" day was a facetious remark I did not intend anyone to take seriously, heavily loaded with insanity as it was. By being a total rat, sometimes the point that sanity is a better option shines through. However, I admit I am rarely as clear or as efficacious as I intend. All respect to Pobble and to you neo. My apologies are most humbly offered.

@Get Off My Lawn,

I was actually responding to LRNs comment. ;D

haha. Sorry. I am a doofus. Uh... please accept my apology for anything I may say in the future that, in all likelihood, will be inane and idiotic. Now I have credit no?

I've known pobble for a LONG time. I was just reminding her that CNN sucks and that even when she's utterly disgusted, there's goodness in the world!
