I am a New Englander, a Southerner, my own woman, Rex's daughter, a quivering mass of contradictions. Nothing here means any more or less than you want it to mean. This and a buck fifty will get you coffee. But it's me. And I really like that.
Looks great from here . . . Hope you had a good holiday as I would have enjoyed seeing a bit of snow (but I guess it's a fine line, eh?).
I'm still nailing down my New Year's plans, but right now, I have refused to commit to anything as a few invitations have been met with polite ambivalence from me. Staying home looks good right now, but I could definitely change my mind.
Regardless, I'm about ready to shut this year down. Ha.
I LOVE Lionel in his skull sweater snoozing in front of the tree. (Of course I zero in on the animal.) Cute picture of the three of you, too. Did you have Timber up for any of the festivities?
Gotta say, the dog definately ROCKS! And you had SNOW for Christmas! I'm so incredibly jealous!!!
For New Year's we're just gonna hang out here together and kiss at the stoke of midnight. Last year he wasn't here. It was the only New Year we didn't get to be together since 1990 (we started dating Dec 1989). I told him never again.
What Dennis said--y'all are adorable! Loved seeing your tree, too!
What we're going to do is attend L'Ailee's best friend's party. He never has us over. He's a cabbie, and hardly ever gets New Year's Eve off, either. He's Russian, and Russians make a huge deal out of New Year's Eve when they can. So he's having a blowout, and will take no excuse short of our own deaths. I can't wait.
$$ ~ It was indeed a delightful holiday and yes, the snow was actually nice. Glad yours was good, too. I look forward to hearing what you end up doing tonight.
Nemeria ~ That's my favorite picture, as well. And yes, Timber was with us for a good part of the holiday (still is). BTW ~ I miss you like crazy. :)
Krystal ~ Lionel is cooler than cool, isn't he? Sounds like a great night for you and Bear. Glad he's home.
Dennis R Upkins ~ Why...thank you. Our cuteness is all part of the master plan of global domination.
CrackerLilo ~ Thank you, too. Just be sure to read the disclaimer to Dennis. ;) And what a great party you've got going tonight! Can't wait to hear all about it.
Aw, PB - I miss you too!!! We actually had a decent NYE! Very low-key but we were with other people. We hung out down the hall with our neighbor and some of his friends (his GF was out of town). I learned to play Texas Hold'em and drank fabulous sour-apple martinis! We rang in the New Year watching the ball drop in Times Square in silence -because neighbor couldn't get the sound working on his TV! LOL

You both make a cute couple. Hubby and I will just sit around the fire place and watch a movie. Have a Happy New Year!
Love the last picture best of all! Happy New Year to all three of you!
