Now, I knew she was applying for these jobs. Hell, I wrote her damn cover letters. And I knew she would get one of these jobs. I have that much faith in her. But it hadn't really hit ~ until now. She's actually and for real...going away.
Ah, the wonderful human condition of being able to feel completely contrary emotions in the exact same strength at the exact same time. God, I'm proud of her.
Congratulations, my dear, dear friend. You will be missed.

Sorry to hear she's growing away. I hope she is happy there as Utah isn't the kind of state I think I would want to live in. It has some very spectacular places but most of it I really didn't care for when I was there a few years back...

I have just finished working 12 days in a row~audit time.... when I get a little rest, a telephone call is in order. At that time, I can tell you the reaction of my best friend when I announced I was moving to Florida. Not a pretty sight at all!

I've had this mixed emotion thing quite a bit. My best pal moved to San Diego (granted, it's not THAT far away), then back to OC, AND now he's moving AGAIN, down somewhere in between. He and Mr. Zoom even like each other so much that it's hard on both of us when he does this. And yet we are so happy for him.
