The Things of Which Nightmares are Made

Today, we were moving shelves into my room. TTG someone noticed before they actually got into my room. Had that Big Honkin' Spider made it in there, I would never have slept again.

Those are Pobble Thoughts. That and a buck fifty will get you coffee.

I killed a spider in my bedroom today. It was small, but extremely poisonous. I'm sure of it.

Oh, definately call on me! I try to be nice, but I seem to have a talent for making the old people very mad. Probably simply because I am young...

I hope those were bookshelves because a new home never feels right to me until I have mine in there.

Good luck with the new job.

GNGirl ~ and even if it wasn't poisonous (which I'm SURE it was!), it would have lain in wait. they do that. I understand.

Daisy Girl ~ Thanks! Good to know I have an ally. ;)

$$ ~ they were indeed bookshelves because you are right ~ it's not home until the books are there! and thanks for the good wishes...you'll hear more, I have no doubt!

Perhaps the spider was looking for some interesting reading material?

My mom has had all kinds of problems stemming from a bite from a brown recluse spider, so I'm glad your story ended better.

I understand why you'd need a job, and I hope it all goes well! Think of it as new sources for inspiration! :-)

Now see, if I was still your neighbor I could have come and rescued the poor little critter and all would have been well. ;)

I miss you.

We hate spiders here in our house too! My girlie tries to be good to all nature but spiders don't qualify! hee!

Ro ~ Perhaps. Although I'm just glad it didn't get the chance to find it!

CrackerLilo ~ LOL. That's *exactly* how I'm looking at the job. You do understand. ;)

Graziella ~ This guy was big enough, you wouldn't have had the chance to come rescue him. Even my spider-loving, earthy crunchy, touchy feely roommates wanted to kill it. If I'd been alone, the killing would have been faster than you could've gotten up the stairs in response to my screams. ;)

Traci ~ Exactly! Spiders outside get to live. Spiders In My Home...yeah, they gotta die.

Ah grasshopper - spiders are good luck. Also, on the subconscious level they represent confronting your fears. Of course, confronting them with the heel of your shoe probably works just as well.

Hi Pobble

I have many spider friends here, some of which are very well trained. I had a very large one in the shower with me the other day so I opened the shower door and he left, he may have been intimidated by the spraying water. They are actually all over the place, in the house, on my houseplants, my whole house is surrounded with them, I can't tell you how many are on the back porch alone, but I can tell you this, I only saw one mosquito this year...:)
