About 11:30 Wednesday night, Lithus' phone rang. By 12:56 Thursday morning, he was a grandfather. And a proud one at that! We are tired and happy and thrilled beyond words. I mean, dude, a grandfather! A Poppy!
Note ~ While you have heard about Timber, you have yet to hear about his daughter (who needs a moniker now) because she is older and off living her own life, doing her own thing, being an adult. It is however, the daughter, not the 14 year old Timber, who has made him Poppy. Just to be clear.
Those are Pobble Thoughts. That and a buck fifty will get you coffee ~ and a cigar!

I was about to say! We've only heard about Timber and I was like...abuh?! But yay for being a Poppy! Maybe one day you'll be a Mimi?
...that's what my mom wants to be called and I told her that would happen as soon as Alice (my corgi) could learn to speak.
congratulations!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS....GRANDMA!
;D
Congrats!
(I called my grandpa "Poppy" - - good name!)
Dreamer ~ I have managed to keep my mother from buying a shirt that reads "Ask me about my granddogs!" but I think it might have been close.
Lovely Cats ~ Thank you.
Dennis R Upkins ~ ROFL
Momo ~ This was Lithus' name for himself. Glad to hear he will be in good company!
And one more congratulations!!
Congrats to Poppy! I hope baby and mama are both happy and healthy!!
What frightens me is that technically, I'm old enough to be the female equivalent to a Poppy. YIKES!!
Dreamer...I have 2 corgis...Casey and Morgan, both boys.
YEAH!!!! Nothing like a newborn!!!
Mike C ~ Thank you. :)
Jersey Girl ~ Mama and baby are fine, ttg. And yeah, it's a little frightening, isn't?
Krystal ~ Luckily, we established while she was pregnant that No, I would NOT be holding the baby. ;)
Jersey Girl:
Eee! Pembroke or Cardigan? She's a Cardigan and her name is Alice...or Alicia McGee when she did something bad. But yeah, aren't they just wonderful?
Congratulations. Does that make you Poppette? No, I didn't think so. Still fun.
Congratulations to Lithus and the rest of your family! (And it is yours. :-)
Mine are both Pembrokes. Casey, who will be 13 in November, is a good boy. Occasionally chews up the random tissue, but that's it.
Morgan, who will be 10 next month, is only good boy-ish, which means he's a bad boy with good boy tendancies. He has decided that peeing outside is merely one of several options based on the whether or his mood at the time. And maybe he'll go out, but he'll whiz on something on his way back in just 'cause he can. The vet said he has an attitude problem. Lovely. But, he's the sweetest, most loving dog with the cutest face I've ever seen. This is probably why he's still around!
Pobble, do mama and baby live close enough to visit? Have you seen them yet? I just love babies!!
You don't hold babies? LOL!
